inclusive counselling for all adults and youth 11+

I have an interest in working to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQIA+) clients and have experience as an LGBT+ youth support worker. I am comfortable talking through identity and gender issues and I am also able to signpost to agencies who will assist you in embracing and enhancing your sexuality/gender. 

I work to provide a space which is open, non-judgemental and comfortable for everyone. 

We have gender neutral toilets in both premises.

Throughout my working career I worked for the National Autistic Society and within SEN schools/colleges.  My inclusion and passion to ensure counselling is available for all, means I have many clients who identify as neurodivergent and ensure my approach for each client reaches their communication and creativity needs.

I have completed additional qualifications as a youth and children's counsellor and have a vast amount of experience counselling young people since 2023.  This is something I have always wanted to do since starting my private practice, young people can have such a hard time during their secondary school experience and I believe they need someone to turn to at these tricky times.

I have an interest in working with D/deaf and hearing impaired clients, I am passionate about inclusivity for all the above and believe Deaf people should have the same access as hearing to counselling services. I am qualified as level 3 British Sign Language, having studied to level 6.

I am a hearing person with training in deaf awareness, culture, communication tactics and sign language training experience, I understand that I am unable to fully empathise with your own life experiences, although I will do my best towards this..
